I made a soup with leftover smoked chicken, turnips, red bellpepper, onion, garlic, jalapeno, carrots, celery, chicken stock, and cream. My daughter and I loved it. Hubby (who likes potato soup) claims he doesn't like "cream soups". For him it was "ok". We also had aged gouda and saltines with it. We also had a shiraz with it. It was very good.

Last night was hot dogs and french fries. Tonight my grandaughter is coming over for the weekend so I'm making up some goulash for dinner tonight. I can make it this morning and just warm it tonight so I have more time to spend with my GD!

Usually mod Beretta will tell us when a new thread needs to be started from the amount of posts & views. Most of the time this thread is called What's For Dinner part x.

Last night we went to a cookout that had hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, mac salad, potato salad, chips then ice cream cake for dessert. Best part was no clean up.

We are taking advantage of our warm fall day and will grill burgers. Probably make some fries, corn on the cob (that I froze from the garden) and a milkshake.

I have no idea yet! Hopefully DH will suggest going out, or bringing something in more than likely.
