What's for Dinner September---?? 2010 (muffins, whip, jalapeno, beer)

I made a soup with leftover smoked chicken, turnips, red bellpepper, onion, garlic, jalapeno, carrots, celery, chicken stock, and cream. My daughter and I loved it. Hubby (who likes potato soup) claims he doesn't like "cream soups". For him it was "ok". We also had aged gouda and saltines with it. We also had a shiraz with it. It was very good.

foot long corn dog
sausage dog
french fries
funnel cake with cherry topping
slice of pizza
root beer and Sprite

I grilled (BBQ'ed) a bunch of beef and we had a pasta salad and grillin' beans ..

Last night was hot dogs and french fries. Tonight my grandaughter is coming over for the weekend so I'm making up some goulash for dinner tonight. I can make it this morning and just warm it tonight so I have more time to spend with my GD!

Last night we went to a cookout that had hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, mac salad, potato salad, chips then ice cream cake for dessert. Best part was no clean up.

We are taking advantage of our warm fall day and will grill burgers. Probably make some fries, corn on the cob (that I froze from the garden) and a milkshake.

BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, mac&cheese and baked beans
