I believe that "chimes" is short for chicken "chimichanga".

According to the schedule it supposed to be BBQ & potato salad. I never miss my Thursday lunch just because I love potato salad!

I love chimichangas. Sometime I will see if the low carb tortillas will do it justice.
Tonight I am making a southwest chicken soup. Made with chicken, last of the greenbeans, jalapenos, & chiles from the garden(I cleaned up a couple of beds). I also add turnip, cream, chicken stock, onion, and cheese.
Does anyone do anything different with green tomatoes. I love them fried. I will let some just ripen. I am thinking about a green tomato salsa. I picked them all because it's going to get cold tonight.
