Not pasta.

Does today count as the first day of Autumn? I just got Marie Callender's pot pies at Costco (a guilty pleasure) but it is absolutely impossible for me to eat a pot pie in the summer in Texas.

I'm pretty excited. I'm finally trying the Lasagna recipe from Cooks Illustrated. It is very different-no mozzarella, no ricotta, very little tomato. The liquid comes mostly from milk and wine, and it used bechamel in place of the cheeses. It does have grated parmesan.
I'll let you know how it turns out.

Dinner changed a bit...potatoes I have are not big enough to bake so I'm going to cut them up like steak fries, put some olive oil on them with some crumbled bacon and spices and roast em!
