We had our first rainy, gloomy day since spring today. I made bean soup and home made bread.
I'm not saying I'm sick of constant sunshine, but I enjoyed just cocooning in the gloom today.

We had chicken milano prepared with boneless chicken breast halves, salt/pepper, garlic, sundried tomatoes, fresh basil over fettuccini, with fresh green beans, Caesar salad, and unsweet tea.

Spicy maple pork chops (courtesy of Paula Deen - who is usually not my favorite but I like this recipe), veggies (portobellos, zucchini, asparagus, and onions) roasted with garlic and olive oil, and rice.

I ended up going out to dinner with my son after his scout meeting. So today will be thai chickpea curry and thai spinach wraps and watermelon granita for dessert.
