Fresh tomato wedges and cheesy spinach. I gave my piece of fried fish to the cats but the dog stole it from them.

Ended up having any free samples I could get, a Fletcher's corny dog, texas tornado taters with nacho cheese sauce, a roasted ear of corn on the cob, and one Dublin Dr. Pepper. Oouf.

Tonight I made a lighter version of Broccoli Cheese soup. I grated three carrot sticks with a microplane to add to the soup to give it color and texture. I tripled the amount of veggies. I used light cheddar and half and half instead of cream.
I cut up some old ciabatta rolls and made herbed croutons for a garnish. It was pretty good.

Tuna steaks on the barbie, with a salad of romaine and arugula with red onion, pear, walnuts and blue cheese with a light vinaigrette. Not sure if that technically goes together but it sure tasted good. So who cares!
