Exactly. That's why I always thought ketchup on a burger was an Oklahoma thing. Here in Texas, give me mustard, please. Mustard after all, gives it some flavor. (Ketchup is for dipping french fries in) Thinner slice of meat (like Sonic does it) and a tomato slice and lettuce. Pet peeve: pickles (yuck) In short, I guess the answer is....however YOU like it!

I don't really think its an Oklahoma thing, just a Sonic thing. I don't really remember seeing ketchup on burgers anywhere else. You might see it as an option somewhere, but not just ketchup. Usually I see mayo or mayo and mustard on burgers here.

Thousand Island dressing and raw onion if I'm making it at home. Animal Style if I'm getting one from In-N-Out.

My "must have" is ketchup. Everything else is optional.

My preference would be:
ketchup
onions
pickles
melted muenster cheese

I'm boring. I don't really enjoy eating burgers, but basically just a patty with cheese, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Yeah, I dislike onions and pickles.
