This morning's breakfast was at the Old West Cafe in Grapevine, TX. There, I had French toast, sausage patties, bacon, hash browns, and hot coffee.

Yesterday I took my husband for his first time to Tipton's Cafe. It is a little cafe that was started in 1966 and remains unchanged since then. We felt like we were in a movie. The food was fat filled and delicious.

And as for today: After a busy morning of walking the dog (it's cold outside!), doing laundry, unloading the dishwasher, feeding the animals and taking inventory of the freezer I cooked eggs, toast, bacon, and hash browns for breakfast. Along with hot steaming coffee it's been a comfort food morning.
