Fried up some leftover rice/chicken/salsa concoction from last last night in olive oil and grated some cheese over it. Also made some additional rice to make it a full meal. Delicious!

I had 6 really thick loin porkchops, about 2 inches thick. I seared them in the frying pan in a little oil and 6 crushed star annis pods. In a large roasting pan I put 4 cans of mushroom soup, one liter of water and one liter of bismati rice. I sunk the chops in that and baked it for 75 minutes at 350F.
It was soooo good. We pigged out on it and there is enough left over for tomorrow.

I still have leftover Costco rotisserie chicken so I had a leg and thigh along with some rice pilaf, to which some broccoli was added, and a glass of iced tea.
