This actually brought back a childhood memory. I dont even know if my mom was right or not but she made my sisters eat liver and/or beets twice a month so they wouldnt get "iron deficient."

Lizzy picked more ribs, so the rest have been dethawed, seasoned and in the oven...I wanted with sauerkraut and bet we can guess what she said, so it will be mashed potatoes, corn for her, and boiled cabbage for me....

I saw a nice looking head of cabbage, so I defrosted a corned beef. We had corned beef & cabbage, with mashed potatoes. Yum!
