Tonight:
Hopping John.
I cook the black-eyed peas with a couple of canned jalepeños slices, a little onion and bacon for a couple of hours.
Then I'll added diced ham and rice and a little more water. Garnish with Tony Chasarise or rather a little seasoning with it and dive in.
Oh and with a little toasted french bread.
