Tonight will be leftover hamburger helper or leftover roast, or leftover beef-cabbage-rice casserole, or leftover grilled cheeseburgers or......................you get the picture! LOL

Debsi I am glad that you are feeling better.

Dawn one very Important Note when buying fresh Mussels, have your fish person always put the mussels in a bag of ice cubes and refrigerate, with the ice cubes, in a bowl as soon as you can, use within 1 day. Before steaming discard any mussels that are opened, after steaming discard any mussels that have not opened they are dead.

We went to Brunch yesterday and last night I made Rigatoni with h/m meatballs and sauce.

Today's dinner is roasted chicken pieces, potatoes and braised carrots.

There were ice cubes in the bag, we refrigerated them, and had them the next day... but...

While I did discard any that didn't open after steaming (actually, now that I think of it, there were none... lucky!), I didn't discard any that had opened before steaming.

I'll know for next time, though.

Thanks for the knowledge!
