Last night DH grillet fillets and we had baked taters and salad also. He really did a great job on those steaks!

Tonight is baked ham, mac and cheese, pinto beans w/ vidalia onions, baked beans and sweet peas. And cornbread.

Homemade beef soup. I'm canning some and there'll be enough left over for dinner. It's noon and the beef bones are roasting in the oven for an hour as I type. Then I'll put them in a stock pot with a large onion, carrots, celery, garlic and herbs and spices. That will simmer for about 5 hours, then strained, to make the stock. Then it's a matter of cutting up the potatoes, carrots, mushrooms and beef for the soup.
