I'd help eat it up! I just can't get too much chicken salad but don't make it often enough.

Same as last night, since I enjoyed it so much: Spanish-style chicken soup. I have a banana to go with it this time.

It is very good! It was simple for me to throw together today. I baked chicken thighs yesterday, and what we didn't eat, I deboned. For the chicken broth it calls for, I used turkey broth I froze in a gallon bag from the last turkey I baked. Took less than 10 minutes from start to putting in the oven. I am going to try this with ham next time I think. Just have to be careful it isn't too salty.

Sweet/Sour Pork and Sitr-Fry Pork w/mushrooms, pea pods and bamboo shoots. Both good!

And then? In my quest to find the most heavenly frosting for a cake, I tried a new boiled frosting tonite. Why don't I leave well enough alone, I've got the most heavely frosting recipes already!!!

Bring the sugar, corn syrup, water to a boil until it's stringy! Then pour it slowly into the beaten egg whites with a dash of salt. I must have poured it too slowly as it turned to "plastic" at the bottom, couldn't even scrape it out!

Then, I spilled some of that gooey "plastic" onto the motor of my beater, onto the countertop and elsewhere. OMG! What a god awful holy mess!

I soaked the pan and utensils for an hour, and it still hadn't softened, even scraping it with knife did no good! I scrubbed and scraped til I was blue in the face! Finally! Me and my eternal experiments!!!

But, aha! My labors were rewarded with a heavenly piece of cake!
