We are invited to dinner at a neighbor's house and they will be serving ham.

I think I want a Honeybaked ham this year.

With that special mustard sauce stuff.

Yum!

Our main entree will be Beef Stroganoff since I am once again taking the easy way out. However, DH says he is baking a small ham.

We'll have ham, as we always do. But this year, I have suddenly developed an aversion to most things 'pig', so I'll probably myself a chicken breast.

I am the only member of my family who will eat lamb. Won't someone invite ME to THEIR dinner? I'll leave the kids and dh at home!

I voted for turkey, not because that's what we are having, but it's what we would have if I was the only vote that counted. That was what we traditionally had every year when I was growing up, and I think its what we should have now. Unfortunately, I am the only member of the family that feels this way. We will probably have a spiral sliced ham, because that's what my husband and sons want. I am considering cooking a whole beef tenderloin that I have in the freezer though. I bought it a while back, but I'm really afraid to try cooking it. I have never done one before, and if I mess it up, not only do we have no Christmas dinner, I'm also out a small fortune.

I chose Ham, cause I never eat it. We LOVE the honeybaked type with the sugar glaze...YOWSA....

Actually....in reality... my Moms spaghetti. My Grandma's Olld recipe. You know it's old if my Mom is 88

When my parents were still living Chrismas Eve we would make smelts, calamari, clams oreganata, shrimp, flounder, baccala and mussels along with a big antipasto and spaghetti with garlic bread of course. Christmas Day we would have turkey, lasagna and sometimes a small spiral ham along with all the trimmings.
Still not sure what we are doing this year so I will have to answer at a later date.

Chinese food! (We're Jewish.)

Actually, we probably won't go for Chinese. Too cliche.

Maybe the dungeness crabs we have in the extra freezer, now that Bulldogdad reminded me.
