Lately I'm stuck on eating Cheezit crackers and pretzels, mixed in a bowl.

just finished a couple of biscuits and a peice of cheese plus juice. I am set for a few hours. Now, I will start drinking my ice water (another 100 degree day predicted, with rain)

Once in a Lifetime Chili

I had 2 1/4lb of 90/10 hamburger that I had to use and had no clue what to do with it. I finally decided to make chili, which isn't something you would normally want to make in this heat! So, I thought I'd have fun with it and experiment with what was in the pantry. No measurements, just tossing in this and that and a few, "Hey, let's try this..." moments. I had a huge can of pure tomato juice to use as the base and I will definitely use that again.

It's the best chili I've ever had! I called it Once in a Lifetime Chili because I couldn't duplicate it again if I tried! At least it made enough to be able to freeze some for later.

Crumbled fried hamburger, no seasoning other than delicious roasted garlic, with steamed veggies (actually microwaved froz veggies with all of it heated at once!).
