what your hubby needs is a 20oz porterhouse cooked med rare smothered with grilled onions and mushrooms with a touch of salt and pepper- if he tries to put any type of (eww... it hurts me to say this) ketchup or steak sauce on this steak slap the hell out of him--- if he won't eat that you need to cut him off

LMAO!!!!!

He says that "pesky" heart disease runs in his family. Pfffft! So, he abstains from red meat.

Because it's much lower in fat, though, he will eat bison. Does that redeem him in your eyes, or no?

curiosity?? how much you paying for buffalo out there? a friend of mine son raises buffalo out here

Sorry! If it helps, *I* eat beef, even though *he* doesn't. At least I haven't followed suit.

Ground bison, in the grocery store, is about $8 per pound.

If we go to Ted's Montana Grill for bison burgers, it's anywhere from $11 to $14, depending on the toppings. But you get fries with it!
