^^^ Well, yeah... it is made from 100% beef ... 35% of the 100% beef is in.
There is a difference between "made from 100%" and CONTAINS 100% beef.

I would eat there many, many, many years ago when I was a teenager. I always thought the meat they used (if you want to call it meat) was awful. That's when I started going to Jack in the box. Way back then we liked their tacos.

I'm so glad we don't eat fast food anymore.

Agreed. The majority of people at Chipotle have never been at a GOOD taqueria. If they had, they would not be willing to pay those prices.

Remember that Chipotle was developed by McDonalds.

I don't care. I'd rather eat at Chipotles than any of those little local Mexican places where everything tastes the same. Love love LOVE the red sauce!

Here are the exact words from their ad campaign....this is from the President of the company. There is nothing in the list of ingredients that would stop me from eating once in a while at Taco Bell:

"Our beef is 100% USDA inspected, just like the quality beef you buy in a supermarket and prepare in your home. It is then slow-cooked and simmered in our unique recipe of seasonings, spices, water, and other ingredients to provide Taco Bell’s signature taste and texture.
Plain ground beef tastes boring.
The only reason we add anything to our beef is to give the meat flavor and quality. Otherwise we’d end up with nothing more than the bland flavor of ground beef, and that doesn’t make for great-tasting tacos.
So here are the REAL percentages.
88% Beef and 12% Secret Recipe.
In case you’re curious, here’s our not-so-secret recipe.
We start with USDA-inspected quality beef (88%). Then add water to keep it juicy and moist (3%). Mix in Mexican spices and flavors, including salt, chili pepper, onion powder, tomato powder, sugar, garlic powder, and cocoa powder (4%). Combine a little oats, caramelized sugar, yeast, citric acid, and other ingredients that contribute to the flavor, moisture, consistency, and quality of our seasoned beef (5%).
We stand behind the quality of our seasoned beef 100% and we are proud to serve it in all our restaurants. We take any claims to the contrary very seriously and plan to take legal action against those who have made false claims against our seasoned beef.
Greg Creed
President, Taco Bell"

No. That is not apples to apples.

Use carne asdada or lengua or al pastor or cabeza on the tacos instead of well, who knows what?

But as long as people accept mediocre food like what is featured at Taco Bell or Chipotle, mystery meat is what you'll get.
