You guys make me hungry! I also eat mayonnaise sandwiches on occasion. I like tomato sandwiches, too. Something about the taste of mayonnaise and bread. It has to be real mayonnaise, though not the stuff that tastes "tangy." I just got a bunch of bags of bearitos, and I'm also snacking on trail mix. My colon is ultra clean.

I don't eat after 11 PM. In Spain, dinner's traditionally at 10 PM so sometimes I make exceptions, but I think midnight snacking is a bad habit. My rule is that it's ok to snack lightly between lunch and dinner but never any other time. :\

I don't wake up in the middle of the night to eat but if I'm up past a certain time it's usually apples and peanut butter.

Either a piece of fruit or piece of protein. Something small and quick to snack on and calm hunger pains.

I try to eat appropriately during the day so that doesn't happen, but I keep "approved" crackers on hand (non-junky, no white flour) to have with some 1% milk when it does. Second go-to is plain yogurt.

Not likely that I would be up at midnight, however, when I have already had my last meal of the day and find myself 'hungry' I'll have 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt and fruit; it works. As shayla2go has said I have also had some peanut butter and fruit and it is just as satisfying as well.

I often wake up with indigestion, a nasty side effect of medication I must take before bed, so I'm usually swigging a little apple cider vinegar diluted in a glass of warm water. It tastes horrible, but it does the trick.

I hardly ever wake up in the night so if I'm hungry I don't know it!
