I'm not talking BBQ sandwiches or hamburgers or hotdogs. I mean meat like ribs, chicken, pork, etc.

I like to have potato salad, mac & cheese, greens. sometimes I'll add some deviled eggs or switch the potato salad w/ cole slaw.

If its damn good BBQ just a napkin and a cold beer.

If its out of this world I wont even need the napkin. I can touch the tip of my nose with my tongue. Easy to lick my own face. Unless the wife want to do it BUT that's not for this thread.

Slice some potatoes, toss them in an aluminum foil pocket with a bit of butter, sprinkle Lowry's seasoning salt over them and fold up the foil pocket. Toss it on the grill (putting it in the oven works too) for about an hour. Open up and load on the sour cream. Good stuff!

I like some nice hot Chili along with my barbeque. Potato salad has already been mentioned but that's a staple for me also.

Insight, one thing I do different is I turn the foil packet over halfway through. And all I put in with the potatoes (besides the butter) is chopped onions and pepper.

Homemade creamy coleslaw, lots of dips, sauces, salads like a Greek salad, mildly curried fruit & pasta salad, rice salad, potato salad, garlic bread and all the meat should be marinated and tasty not just thrown on the BBQ as it came out the supermarket packet!
