That sounds pretty darn good to me !
Tonight if I can be bothered I might try my hand at making a pile of crepes and "bugnes" in the French tradition. In France you would also usually have the "Galette des Rois" ( King's cake) but I don't think I have the will power to even try !
Not sure it goes with the beef Teryaki we are having for main course but never mind....

Good Lord! I just Googled to see what the heck this "King Cake" is.....
...and I ain't eatin' no dang cake that has a plastic baby in it!
