I just recently discovered that Dorito's has re-introduced their old Taco flavor. Oh Lord, I have fell off the wagon and had a serious relapse. I am now up to 2 - 12 oz. bags a week. If I don't eat at least a bag a week I go into the sweats, shakes, see little pink Dorito's crawling out from under the couch and crawling down the walls. I gotta find a Dorito's Abuse Assistance Center ASAP before I start going to 3-4 bags a week. Does anyone know of a Dorito Crisis toll free number or a Dorito Counseling thingee near NW N.C??? Are there other Dorito-olics out there like me??? please help if ya can - Thanks!!
Yikes! I am sure you will get sick of them at some point!! I have never tried that flavor and based on your experience, I think it is best that I stay far, far away!
If you e-mail the company, they may just send you more!
I remember the Taco Doritos, They havent been around for Years.
Now i'm going to have to go get some, I loved them when I was a kid..
Funny thing, I dont really like Doritos but the Taco flavor was great.
Hello Dave - You are amongst friends now. It's OK to relax.
My wife has three bags of those original Taco doritos sitting in the pantry. We are both afraid to open even one because we are afraid of experiencing what you are going through. We recognize they will eventually go stale, but stale Doritos are still better than most fresh chips anyway.
Our close friends say to give them the bags as to save us from ourselves, but I can see right through their shallow attempts at kindness. We feel your pain, Dave, and support you in your time of hardship.

I'm just thankful that they didn't continue making that "no-name" flavor of Doritos. Y'know, the ones in the black bag? The ones that tasted like a Big Mac? If they had continued making them, instead of just as a teaser flavor, I'd need to be put into a 12-step program.
As it stands now, thankfully, other than from those Big Mac Doritos, I can abstain.
Hi Dave! I'm a fellow chip a holic. I used to do Dorito's but managed to switch to Ruffles. I'm hoping its a little better for me than orange cheese powder which is of course a major addictive substance.
I have had chips pretty much everyday for the last 20 years. It really is an addiction.
this title reminded me of my grandpa. when we were kids, he had a heart attack and afterwards he followed one of the strictest diets ever. his only weakness was doritos. after my grandma died, he lived with us for a while. my mom said he was sitting with doritos one day and when he heard her coming he ran downstairs with them. once we tied a bag of doritos to a fishing poll and held them over his head while he watched tv.
they are pretty yummy. if i go to subway for lunch (rare) ill get the combo and grab some doritos as my side.
Not to rain on your parade but don't Doritos have MSG (monosodium glutamate)? When snack foods are highly addictive, nine times out of ten, they have MSG in them. Just sayin'...
