It depends on which restaurant I am in.
If they have only Coke products, I drink Coke; cherry Coke if they have the real thing (regular Coke with cherry syrup added can be gross).
If they have Pepsi products, I ask for (or make my own) a "Dewpsi"; half Pepsi and half Mountain Dew.

Coke. Specifically, Diet Coke. (I don't drink sugar. If I'm going to consume sugar, it's gonna be candy.)

Why Coke? Because it's the real thing.

Pepsi. I'm another one though, who thinks RC is highly underrated.

I live in Atlanta -- of COURSE it's Coke! Pepsi if there is absolutely NOTHING else to be had. I had a friend who worked for Pepsi and was transferred to Atlanta -- they used to joke that working for Pepsi in Atlanta was like getting combat pay. :-)

Apocryphal story: There's a well-regarded university here in Atlanta, Emory Univ., who has been generously supported by the Candler family for the past 100 years. (Asa Candler was the founder of Coca-Cola). Subsequent presidents and CEO's of Coca-Cola have continued the tradition, as Robert Woodruff provided the means for the Center for Disease Control to move adjoining Emory (thus providing an invaluable resource to the medical school/hospital at Emory), and Robert Goizueta, after whom the School of Business was named. Woodruff gave over $105 million in Coke stock to Emory in 1979, which has grown to $5 BILLION dollars of investment.

Anyway, with all that Coke money floating around, Emory is VERY conscious that they owe a great deal to Coca-Cola. No Pepsi products are sold on-campus. One time, a contractor building a new building at Emory ordered a drink vending machine installed for his workers. When it was delivered, it was a Pepsi machine. The contractor quickly got a visit from the administration and told, quietly but firmly, that the the Pepsi machine was a no-go. :-) Emory's president still greets new students each year with a toast -- of Coca-Cola. :-)

Coke or Pepsi? Chevy or Ford? Dodge is like RC Cola... just not the real thing.

I've found over the years that most Pepsi drinkers are Chevy guys, and most Coke drinkers prefer Ford.

Am I right?
