I haven't drank sugared soda since I was probably 10 years old. I used to drink diet pepsi, because I don't like diet coke. But when Coke Zero came out, I switched to it. Now diet pepsi tastes too sweet to me.

Just got out of jail, used a little corn syrup on the lock and was able to escape, left behind all the sugar lovers from the bananna republic, they tried to rape me.

Mrs. Cool or anyone else, How does Coke Zero compare to diet coke ? I have not tried Coke Zero but might give it a go.

Lucky for me I don't drink soda of any kind. I use to drink Diet Mountain Dew... but it had to be flat as flat can be.
I never did like carbonation.
If I had to pick it would be Pepsi. Coke is killer on my throat. I bet it does do a great job on paint & toilets

They last for about a year. Our CO2 tank finally went empty 3 months ago and we just replaced it last Saturday. The syrups are still good! My favorite so far is the Pink Grapefruit soda syrup they have. I highly recommend them. You can get everything at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Also, Kohl's has the syrups for sale too, but not the carbonator tanks.

We only drink diet soda so maybe it would not be worth it to buy that machine.

My choice is vanilla Coke and I add two tablespoons of vanilla extract to give it extra vanilla flavor.

Can the level of carbonation (fizziness) be increased? If so that might be an incentive to be a sodastream. I really prefer soda at restaurants because they have the seltzer levels cranked up much higher than the packaged soda found in supermarkets.

speaking of pepsi, my MIL made a crockpot pot roast that called for pepsi in the gravy. She said it was delicious and just gave it a hint of flavor without being very sweet. She said you could not even tell their was pepsi in it. I have a brsket recipe that calls for coca cola in it.
