Cool Dinner Party Games, Ideas?

We're hosting a no kids dinner party for 12-20 people next month. We're going for a nice, plated meal and want to keep the games appropriate for some of the guests who might be offended by crude games. We do love to laugh, though! We hosted a murder mystery dinner before with sixteen people that was a lot of fun, but we're going for something different this time. Any ideas?

Any other dinner party tips or ideas are appreciated!

I think a murder mystery dinner party is perfect. Especially if you did it before and likedit. I did one last month and was so glad I did. Good luck with your party!

Here's a good dinner game.

Get everybody's food all served out then ring a bell.

The last one done eating has to wash the dishes.

Play Who Am I? Research trivia facts on people ...you can pick a theme...movie stars, past presidents, sport figures, etc. Give everyone a card with who they are and 20 facts about the person. All they share is "I'm a football player" or I'm a movie star". Then one person stands up and the others take turns, one at a time, asking them a question...like "Are you male"..."are you still living"..."did you ever win a Superbowl", etc. Go around the room and each person asks 1 question. Whoever guesses their identify, wins a small prize...lottery ticket, bottle of wine...whatever.

Or play this: after dinner, give your guests of list of items that they may have on themselves; gum, nail file, social security card, cell phone, key ring with more than 10 keys on it, business card, matches or lighter, mints, photo of their spouse or mate, more than 5 credit cards in their wallet, Sams Club or Costco member card, etc. The person who has the most things on them (not in their car) wins a prize.

why not go for -in these times a treasure hunt- every guest brings a gift book, etc.
5.00 lottery ticket etc. then you find after dinner the treasure. the the bad is the winner keeps all-then may donate say to his church-10.00 dollars! like the easter hunt. I just thought like all- do bring 5.00 to 10.00 gift. wine, lottery tickets, books.
you could also set up like a question and answer box for the prize. like 1 vs 100.
