There is none.

Get off your butt and squeeze some limes. There is no substitute.

There might be a halfway decent margarita mix made somewhere, but I've never found one.

There is a frozen one that comes in a large bucket, just scoop the mix out and add the Tequila
and must have fresh lime slices, salt +-.

IMO there isn't a mix that comes close to making it fresh.
Not the best answer to the question, but when making
good 'Ritas, quality trumps convenience.

3/4 cup lime juice
3/4 cup sugar
~1 cup tequila
1 shot Grand Marnier

Mix this until sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour mixture into blender, and fill to top with ice.
Blend.
Enjoy!

I made these at a party last summer for a group of friends
who said they weren't really 'Rita drinkers. Well, 13 pitchers
later they said they were converts!

IM expert opinion.

Costco has the best premade Margarita Mix. Just add a little squeeze of lime at the end.

IMO, store marg mixes arent worth a darn, and bottled lime juice is horrible. However here is an easy recipe for rocks margarita pitchers, 1 can frozen limeade (name brand is better), 1 1/2 can tequila, 1/2 can triple sec (liquer) and 3 cans (or less) water. I like the ice in the glass, use less water if you put it in the pitcher. I prefer the smallest size can of limeade because I can doctor each round to taste. They are great! I prefer them to most other margs, including those with fresh lime and/or fancier liquers. Salud!

Rose's lime juice if you like your margaritas a little sweeter.

Some specialty liquor stores will sell quality mixes that are all natural and are basically just lime and sugar. But they can be pretty expensive. I personally have used frozen limeade in the past with great success--just make sure that it's all natural and doesn't have dye! Mix the frozen limeade with half (or less) the amount of water that it calls for on the can. Add tequila to taste. (I also add Gran Marnier or something similar). I like my margaritas shaken and straight up or on the rocks. But you could also make up a big batch ahead of time for convenience. Dang...now I want a margarita.

Real margarita drinkers don't use margarita mix.
