You can relive those days in Visalia. This place is owned by a man named Jeff Naugle, and he knows his stuff when it comes to recreating some of the favorite food made famous by Dick Naugle.

Oh, yes, I remember those items from Carl's Jr. back in the day, and I wish they'd bring those back. Carl's (and Jack in the Box) also had these steak sandwiches back in the 80s that were good as well.

I also agree that Carl's Jr. is not same as it once was.

After Carl died the chain got taken over by MBAs who, I'm sure, improved the bottom line but unfortunately turned Carl's into just another crappy fastfood restaurant. It was always fast food but before it was at least honest fastfood without all the artificial crap McD's or Burger King put in their food. Now there is very little reason to go there and if I really want a fastfood fix then I'll go to In 'N Out.

White Castle doesn't sell franchises. I was interested in purchasing one several years ago and was shocked that all WC's are owned by the same corporation. That is why they're not seen in too many states. You can find frozen WC's in supermarkets, but they're not quite the same. The frozen ones don't have pickles on them either.

I miss Weaver's chicken croquettes.

Agreed, yea come to think of it, I remember for one, that there weren't that many Carl's in my neighborhood, we'd have to drive away to one (or in my case as a teen, take the bus) & I do remember there were a few different items, as well as it was different from Micky D's & Burger King.....I also remember Jack in the Box was different too, as far as what they offered, I give it that, it does have variety, but its definitely not the same as in the old days (old Jack logo outside of restaurant too) now every fast food chains trying to hard to be different, retro or not, I just don't like the changes....And if its not In & Out, I'd rather go to regular old Hamburger stand, like out here in Cali, like Omega burgers, Ox burgers, Douglas Burgers, Tam's, Gus Jrs, Toms in ELA, I'm sure there are all the same good old fashioned formats...allover the place...

I miss Weaver's chicken croquettes.
That explains it, they keep it to themselves, big corporate control
yea tried the frozen once, hated it
I heard about Weaver's chicken croquettes, they look pretty darn tasty (mouth watering)..

Speaking of Retro Fast food Restaurants,
Pup 'N' Taco in So. California, long gone, I remembered their hot dogs & tacos....lol
I heard they still exist in another state though
