Oyster: Raw or Cooked?
I love cooked Oysters but rarely eat them raw. What are your preferences?

I love them char-broiled. I do mine on the bbq pit. Place them over hot charcoals on the half shell and bast them with butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, and italian seasoning. Serve with hot french bread.

I don't think I've ever had them cooked...only raw. Can't say which way I like them best, consequently. They're alright...I'll eat 'em if I'm invited out to an oyster bar (seems to happen a lot when we travel to the East Coast to visit S.O.'s dad and his GF). But they're not something I crave. Byproduct of being Midwestern, I guess. I probably never would have tried them at all, had I not gotten the chance to dine on them straight out of the oyster beds in a foreign country as a college student.

Mmm, yes. Or in a shot glass with all that and a little vodka.
Oyster stew, smoked oysters on crackers, oyster stuffing ... also good.
Oooh, oyster po'boy. Or a peacemaker: half fried shrimp, half fried oysters.

Well; first about a dozen on the half shell, then maybe 6 on half shell on the BBQ w/a garlic, basil butter; then abut 8 fried up w/ a basket of fries and "some" cold beer.
Ya betcha
Capt. Seafood....
