I love leftover pizza but it has to be reheated - the bottom gets nice and crisp - almost prefer it to fresh pizza and def. better than microwaved pizza which tends to get soggy.

I have to say IMO the best cold pizza for breakfast (for me) is the thick crust kind that has mostly sauce, and grated cheese on top. It's something you find more at a bakery than your local pizza place.

The amount of sauce keeps it nice and moist but does not make it soggy and gross.

That was "drunk food" when I was in my late teens. Today, not a big fan.

We just bought a pizza in Taos, NM & packed up our leftover pizza in plastic wrap & foil, put it in the ice cooler & finished our pizza when we got home 3 states away.
We warmed it up in a skillet (which keeps the crust crispy) it was just as good when they brought the pizza to us.
YUM...

The best cold pizza is thin crust with lots of junk on it. Thick bread, once soft and tasty, is a bad trip cold and tough. But the veggies and meats and cheese are quite good for a couple of days. I confess to buying two gourmet pizzas from Dewey's and putting one straight into the fridge and eating the other. I think my favorite cold pizza is pineapple pepperoni, although bacon and jalapeno is pretty good too.

In my early 20's...after late nights out, cold pizza was the holy grail of foods. Now..Im a mellow mature dude, and late night snacks go to the waistline.

My hubby loves pizza & will eat any type. Usually thin crust, but not always.
If you reheat pizza.... heat it up in a regular skillet (teflon) or whatever.
Heat it up & your crust will be fresh again like it was delivered.

If you heat it in micro...chances are all your toppings will melt all over your plate.

So no we don't eat pizza cold.

No, I'm definitely in the minority here. I don't like cold pizza. If I have any leftover, I will reheat it, but NOT in the microwave.

Pizza is best when not right out of the oven hot...I usally burn my mouth.

warm pizza is better, and the flavor is best cold out of the fridge.

If I could, I would open a snack diner and serve cold pizza and cold fried chicken.
