Due to different brand of oil, so I washed Oil Dispenser Bottle. But it is so difficult to get it air dry, although I turn it upside down.

It has been one full day, and it is still not fully dry, there are always some droplet on the side. Definitely more than 24 hours, can I use paper to wipe inside instead of air dry?

Maybe I should not wash it at all? Should I wash bottle when using a different brand of oil?

Maybe you can dry it completely with your hair dryer? Or a paper towel?

Probably I did not use enough dish soap, I washed it again with dish soap, to completely get rid of oil.

I think it can air dry with water only, but if there is oil and it cannot be completely dry anytime soon.

Dish soap = Dawn brand. It's the ONLY type I've ever found that gets rid of ALL the oil. The commercials showing them using it on ducks are real.

You should let it dry completely before adding more oil.

Since oil is lighter then water, any water will be trapped at the bottom of the container where it cannot evaporate. If it gets into a hot pan, it can cause spattering and possible burns.

If I were refilling with the same type of oil, different brand, I wouldn't worry about washing it first. But it should be washed occasionally...

Is this water or oil residue?

Turn it right side up for a day. The water is evaporating, going upward, and can't get out of the bottle.

Put it in your dishwasher. Dishwasher detergent is much stronger than anything you can use by hand.

YUCK! Oil can go rancid especially when it has been exposed to air and light (which your decanted oil has). Why would you want to expose fresh oil to old oil? Guess I don't understand your problem OP. Wash your bottle again. Use hotter water, more detergent, and rinse it thoroughly with hotter water! More heat will encourage better evaporation of both water and oil residue.
