Geeze, lots of weeks I only spend about $30, but after our freezer dissaster I spent a little more today (like 4 times) of course when I say I only spend $30, remember we also do Aldis and Sams on a regular basis as well as a Farmers Market here and there plus I still have my garden (it is about to be history for this year)

Thank-goodness we are still pretty lucky in NWA that we can afford to buy enough to survive on for a week for $30.

Feel free to post recipes, too.
a no-fail that's cheap, filling, tastes good, & is good for you:

Make your favorite pasta on stove top (spaghetti & sauce, macaroni & cheese, etc.)

Mix in: 3 eggs, a can of "cream of-" soup (mushroom or whatever), & you can also add a can of chunked chicken or tuna if you want.

Put half of this mixture in a baking dish or pan.
Add sliced tomatoes & sliced onions.
Put the remaining mixture on top.

Bake for approx. 45 minutes (depending on size of pan).

I like to add sliced or grated avocado on top when it's finished.

$30?

A cassorole or a meatloaf dinner, with a simple garden salad, and rolls.

Make sure you add a few veggies to that list..Sometimes Wal-Mart isn't the cheapest on produce (or at least here that is true)
