Rocky mountain oysters, sea urchin ovaries, rattlesnake, whale meat, grashoppers, live heart from a Yellowtail(like a jack), live anchovies(with a beer!), and probably some other stuff I have fogotten about.
I had curry goat (love it), Chicago Dog (hate it), frog legs (gritty; not worth hurting a poor froggie), bonita (of the tuna family but it's so bloody nobody will eat it) and, pickled pigs feet.
Frog legs if cooked right are not grippy and are really good. The biggest problem, they are boney so, yes, some might not think it is worth the bother.
To me the weirdest stuff I managed to eat is:
1. cow heel (I think it may be like pigs feet...it's glutinous)
2. Blood Sausage - one of my favorite foods...but I can't make it myself. I had some in France, we also eat one from pigs blood and rice from my country and I had "soondae" in Korea.
3. Chicken feet - I had some in the caribbean, but my favorites are the puffy Chinese dim-sum ones. I also had duck feet...but they're gross. They're bigger..and taste like ducks. LOL
I couldn't eat bugs (I tried eww), sea urchin or a lot of other stuff that looks "weird" to me, but I'm sure I ate dog or something at a taqueria in Mexico. They said it was beef...but it didn't taste like beef.
