I have a coffee bean roaster, and the part that holds the beans is glass. After many roasting sessions, the glass has turned black and I can't see how the beans are coming along. Anyone know how to clean the stain off of the glass? I've tried soap and hot water to no avail.

Possibly CLR or if you can get your hand in there try a Magic Eraser.

First clean with degreaser, then try solution of bleach&water, rinse well, add little vinegar to last rinse.

Straight tri-sodium phosphate and boiling water. Let it soak. If you can't find TSP, just use ****& Span.
