Husband is working late so I doubt I'll cook anything major. I'm thinking grilled cheese, or corn dogs , or popcorn chicken.

Tonight has to be a quick dinner so it's just going to be spaghetti, garlic bread and a salad on the side.

My girlfriend has tickets to a "VIP" dinner at a smallish biannual art festival.

I love free food.

Today is hubbys birthday.
...not sure if were going to a restaurant we like or not. Depends on the kind of day he has today.
When he left this AM he told me...make some more of those special oatmeal cookies, that's the kind of BD meal I'd like. He is such a nut.
Ya know...he would love that...he's very spoiled. I've created a very spoiled man the last 30 years. LOL...He deserves to be spoiled.
Oatmeal is a great meal. Add raisins, cranberries, english walnuts. I guess it would be like breakfast for dinner. Right ???

Ok...that's what he'll have Breakfaast for Dinner

Friday night is eat at home, for sure. DH said he was in the mood for cube steak, potatoes and gravy. We have a lot of regular steaks in the freezer though, so I don't know why we don't just have those. Anyway, if he wants to take charge, whatever he comes up with is fine with me.
Tomorrow, we have a lot of ground to cover, so we'll probably have breakfast and an early dinner out and about.

It's been an extremely busy week here, dinner has been something grabbed on the run all week...so tonight it's going to be roast chicken, roasted sweet potatoes with kale and dried cranberries, some kind of salad and homemade blackberry pie.

I just made a sort of casual shrimp soup with some leftover shrimp from another meal: garlic, chopped tomato, lots of green onions and chicken broth, splash of Zinfandel and little fresh cilantro on top. I also finished the Zinfandel and had a really sound night's sleep for a change.
