Have swiss steak with onions simmering in the oven, will serve with mashed potatoes and homemade gravy, salad, corn, and multi-grain rolls with warn honey butter. Have strawberries and cool whip for desert if hubby wants them.
Yesterday's hamburgers morphed into a venison and lamb chili with black beans. It didn't really take longer than hamburgers AND it was very good AND I made enough to give some to my parents and have leftovers for today.
My dad likes neither venison or lamb so I simply didn't tell him what was in it and he had two helpings according to my mother.

I still don't know what I am going to throw together for dinner - think it is going to be leftover chili I have frozen and a salad. I need some new ideas (that DH will actually eat! LOL He is a meat & taters guy.)
