Grilled marinated flank steak for me and burgers for Son. I'm not sure about sides other than corn on the cob (maybe Mexican style with some Cotija cheese). I'm also going to grill the Portobella mushrooms for tomorrow's Mushroom Parmesan.
just a simple meal of pork steak (by the way, does anyone know the difference between pork steak and plain cheap pork chops?) sweet potatoes and green salad.
Nita
Pork steaks are usually a little tougher than a pork chop ours come from the shoulder area. Good for slow cooking we do them on our grill too. They usually have smaller meat sections than a chop too as bones run through this cut around my parts. HTH
We are doing spaghetti with bolognese sauce, 3 cheese garlic bread (trying to clean out freezer of a bunch of different cheese) and german chocolate cake for dessert.
Jamaican Brown Stew Chicken with baby carrots and red potatoes served with avocado and corn on the cob. Complimented with a glass or two of Sauvignon Blanc.

I had one of the best meals of my life tonight at dinner. My husband, mother-in-law and I went for dinner in Little Italy, the north end of Boston.
I had rigatoni (the most incredible, homemade pasta) in a tomato sauce (light, light, light... with San Marzano tomatoes, oil, BUTTER!) with a 1.25 lb lobster swimming in the sauce.
It was seriously worthy of sobs, it was so good. I dunked bread into the sauce when all was done because I didn't want to leave anything over.
LOL~ I like pushing your buttons SATX!
The steaks were so good. Had them cut fresh at the Fresh Market.....2 inches thick. Right now I'm working on my 2nd margarita. Life is goooood.
