Beef Liver/Onions w/sage & white wine - Italian style. Chicken Livers/Onions/Mushrooms/Sherry - Mexican style. Fish Fillets - Hungarian style. And 3 Chinese stir-fries, 2 w/Shrimp, one w/beef. A nice eclectic buffet of selections for the next few days!
Haven't cooked Beef Liver in 20+ years or Chicken Livers, and decided to try some recipes from my Creative Int'l Cookbook. With these 2 recipes, it will not be 20 years again before I cook liver again! Yummy! All it takes is those magic recipes!
Tomorrow the sweets: Pineapple Frommage from Norway and a Banana Pie from my White House Chef's cookbook!
I love, love, love trying new recipes!

simple and easy home made split pea soup. The ham bone cooked all night, so I will take it out in a few minutes, stick the peas and other veggies in the crock pot, cut up the meat and we are good to go. After we spend the day running errands I will come home and the house will spell so nice. We love split pea soup. I think I will make grilled cheese sandwhiches also..
Steamed "Thai" Mussels ( lemongrass, chillies, coconut milk broth) and a green salad tonight. I was going to make Cod but the Mussels were priced so competitively today that I could not resist....

I was told that women love men with mussels but after gluing them to my body no women wanted to get near me. What gives?
Marinated grilled shrimp, brown rice mixed with leftover white rice from our Chinese restaurant, and w Caprese salad.
