Tonight I am doing chinese: beef and broccoli, fried rice with pork, chinese peas and egg rolls. I have the beef and the pork left from last week so what is more perfect?
Steak on the grill, baked potatoes with the first fresh chives out of the garden, salad out of the garden.
I can't wait til I can say "out of the garden" We do have a lot of herbs and they are really taking off. It will be hard in fall to go back to buying them in the store.
Sunday dinner is chicken tenders (chicken breasts cut into strips, then coated with ground up packaged stuffing mix and baked), sweet potatoes, peas frozen from last summer's garden (got to use them up before I pick this year's), and yellow layer cake with chocolate icing.
