another week before payday.. and we have tumbleweeds rolling out of the fridge.
I had a package of three frozen chicken legs..tossed them in a pot o' water
and removed them to have later for dinner.
To the chicken broth I added carrots, spinach, onions and dried spices/herbs.
and found dry lentils and rice in the cupboard. Okay.. now the cupboards are
spilling out tumbleweeds too, but, I can make several lunches out of this one pot of soup. (Will be adequately tired of it by Thursday)
Suppertime- I'll cut a few potatoes in half, score them brush w/olive oil and shake onion & garlic powder on them, put them flat side down and bake coverd w/foil for hmmm, about 35 or 40 minutes.
Serve with the warmed chicken legs and whatever green veggie I can fine.
(oh Calgon, take me away)!!
Cran-apple and sage pork chops. It's a new recipe, so I have no idea how it will turn out but it can't be too bad. It's actually off a Club House pack of pre-measured spices with recipe, and so I bought the spice pack for the recipe.
With that we will have potatoes and I guess if the above recipe is not for me, I will fill up on potatoes.
