Anybody ever tried this dish?

I've had it twice from two different places and think it's DELICIOUS ... best Chinese dish ever! The second place (China Station, a little place in West Duluth) was better than the first.

Here's info about it: Mapo doufu - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It is yummy - one of my favorite Asian dishes. Some restaurants prepare it completely different than others - maybe there are regional differences.

My favorite version is with the thick red sauce, slightly spicy, water chestnuts, and peanuts. When I make it at home I always add some veggies like broccoli and snow peas.

Yes, I love this. Where I live, they often add jalapenos to it. Nice and spicy.

Where do you live? California? Sounds very unique, almost like fusion cuisine.
