probably butternut, followed by acorn. Although I do like zucchini and yellow squash for making stir fries, and spaghetti squash for making gluten free spaghetti!!

Summer squash is my favorite. Zucchini and yellow squash sauteed with onion in olive oil - yum. Spaghetti squash in a variety of dishes.

As far as winter squash goes, I like to have acorn and butternut a few times a year. I've never had it on the grill but I bet that would be good.

I've got a wire shelving thingy in the kitchen (it's like the top half of a baker's rack) where i do my seasonal displays..... fall is my all time favorite season to decorate for. Right now, I've got three shelves of various squashes.... (along with some fake leaves, and a couple fake blackbirds) I picked most of them for their beautiful colors and have fun swappiing them out with new finds....

So next up - I bought something called a "Sweet Dumpling" that we're going to try tonight...
