The only thing that makes me bonkers is if someone puts something (e.g. left-overs) in the fridge without covering it.
Oh. And not wrapping cheese tightly after taking a slice - I hate finding the cheese hard and dried up!

Oh, me too! The cheese one I mean. My hubby is very artistic. HE wraps ALL the Christmas presents every year. VERY talented. But his idea of of wrapping cheese is to take a piece of foil and squish it against the open end in one stroke. Seriously??? It's just like wrapping a present!! Fold one end, then the sides. NOT DIFFICULT!!!

I have two that really bug me at big holiday dinners. Putting the leftovers away in the dishes they were cooked and or served in. I need a casserole dish and where is it? In the fridge with aluminum foil over it holding what amounts to a dab of sweet potatoes simply because someone was too lazy to scrape the leftovers into LEFTOVER containers or ziploc bags. I want my casserole dishes scraped, cleaned and put away!
The other is when someone else offers to do my dishes and they will use one sink of soapy water to do 4-5 sink loads of dishes. By the time they get to the pots and pans the water is greasy and has lost it's suds long ago. For a big meal, I will often change my dishwater 3 times.
I would rather do the clean-up for a a huge dinner by myself than deal with other people "Helping" in my kitchen.
Oh..and toast sweat! My husband ALWAYS leaves toast sweat on my counters. Drives me batty. One swipe with a paper towel is all it takes!!!

Did i miss it or did no one mention floor crunchies? You, like rice or sugar that ends up on the floor and then crunches as you walk through.

Just anyone being in the kitchen while I'm in there cooking is enough to tick me off. Keep out until I'm done!

I'm with you on that one. When I've got everything spread out and am trying to cook in peace, here comes my husband, and when she's home, my college-age daughter and they just have to get something to drink or they start puttering around behind me. I'm a clean-as-you-go cook and it makes me nuts when someone puts one item in the empty kitchen sink and then turns around and strolls out. I feel compelled to stop what I'm doing, wash the dish or utensil, glare and curse under my breath, and then continue preparing the meal.

Add me to that list. I especially hate when people come in the kitchen while I'm cooking a meal and "supervise" what I'm doing. GET OUT!

I used to get that alot, with spices. Once I put chili powder on fried potatos for color, just a small amount.
After that, I was pretty much accused of putting chili powder in everything.
