As temperatures drop and the days get shorter, its time to warm up inside with a nice hot beverage. What hot drink gets you out of bed in the morning or helps you endure those long, dark winter nights?

Since I drink tea all day long, it's not a special beverage, but for cold evenings, it would be either vin brulé and/or hot toddy.

I'm a coffee girl in the morning, and this time of year I enjoy the peppermint creamer. Hot chocolate is nice after coming in from the cold.

When company comes I like to make mulled cider or some kind of hot punch.

#1 favorite: HOT CHOCOLATE with Amaretto coffee creamer. Can't always find the creamer though...
Hot peppermint herb tea comes in a close 2nd.
Hot spiced crnberry cider is a good drink for a crowd...

Hot chocolate--Milk with Hershey's Cocoa and a bit of sugar. Sometimes, whipped cream on top. I like the homeade better than the pre-packaged ones.

I like coffee with a splash of eggnog in it for mornings.

Hot coco at night ... but the real stuff made with milk and premium chocolate on the burner, not the powered stuff (too much sugar)

Fultons Pumpkin Pie Liquer
