Yum, yum! I love it! Homemade, not store-bought - too many thickeners and high fructose corn syrup in the cartons!

Alton Brown had a couple good recipes on Good Eats - one with raw eggs, one without. I don't mind raw eggs at all, especially local ones gathered fresh.

Eggnog Recipe : Alton Brown : Food Network This recipe has instructions for using raw eggs or cooked eggs.

Do't like it to drink, but I used it one time to make holiday quick breads.

Those came out pretty good!! Think they would be even better with
some rum or amaretto, may have to experiment this year!!

I love it spiked!

My family used to make one with a meringue topping spiced with nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon - spiked with rum or cognac.
