Spaghetti, lasagna, or chili are the best leftovers for me. I think most tomato-based dishes taste better the second day.

I like leftover spaghetti sauce, but if it's mixed with the spaghetti, yuck. The wet noise it makes, ew ew ew. Leftover lasagna is great.

Thanksgiving leftovers? I like my leftover stuffing. It has all kinds of good things in it.

Following an old tradition from Mom, for breakfast the day after a huge meal she would fry up some bacon and sausages then throw the leftover mashed potato's and all the vegetables in the pan where everything gets fried to perfection, drizzle with some HP sauce and you gotta plate full of heaven.
Not recommended to be eaten too often but a couple of times a year i try to recreate moms fry up..

Pretty much everything from Thanksgiving reheats well, for me. In terms of other leftovers, if it's not something that was breaded, deep fried, or otherwise crusted, it's fair game. I'm not a big fan of crust that gets soggy upon storage/reheating.

Cold pizza/lasagna/spaghetti?
I could never attempt to eat that. And those are some of my favorites.

But heated up pizza is my fave.

Leftover bbq ribs are great. The seasoning and sauce are still delicious and definitely settled.
Also like most leftover desserts, esp. peach cobbler and sweet potato pie.
Leftover sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, the list goes on.

Seems to me the Thanksgiving leftovers cannot be beat for being better the next day.
Home made stews and soups seem better the second day, too.

American chop Suey for sure. The flavors have blended in so well by the next day.

I'm with you on that. I loathe leftover fried chicken and similar. Everything else is fair game. Many things taste better the next day.
