Just a few days later I saw an article entitled, "Salad Shockers" and guess what the #1 salad was on the list?? Quesadilla Explosion, with an incredible 1,410 calories and 89 grams fat. Leaving the chicken off helped with the fat and calories, but even so, it was way more than I would have guessed.
Let's keep things minimal.

My doctor told me about a conversation that he had all too many times, with patients who were brought into the cardiac ER on Christmas:
DR: How was the ham dinner?
PATIENT: How did you know I had ham?
DR: Because you're in here with me.

A table of four could order a burger, and cut it up into quarters, and everyone would be well-fed.
You mean like this....

Largest hamburger ever in the world.

It's no wonder that there's such an obesity epidemic in this country. I can't help but think that food processing companies are in cahoots with the big pharmaceutical companies and mainstream medical care providers (physicians, hospitals, etc.).

Like watching highly politicized propaganda films will educate us. It like watching Der Juden to find out about the Jewish faith.

so you are right, people should consider that when they look at these items.

Ah and therin lies the problem. People order this stuff and do NOT share it, and do NOT take part home. Shame on the restaurants for pushing this crap, serving wayyyyy to much in one sitting (whether or not the menu says 'for 2' or whatever) and not being responsible business owners. Oh yea, and shame on the food manufacturers (not growers, because all of this stuff is chemically-laden man made junk that is just heated up in the restaurant) who just keep adding more and more crap to make the food irresistible not to mention addictive. We are mere humans with not a whole lot of willpower, and if we are fed fat, salt, sugar over and over and over, guess what happens. Obesity epidemic! But that doesn't matter as long as a lot of people are making a LOT of money.

They never give me enough and I am not at all addicted, since I very rarely eat it. I have lots of willpower, although I don't at all need it in this case, and I am not fed anything that I do not voluntarily eat.
