ok, so I always rave about how healthy we try to eat and how I don't cook crap and then tonight, for the second night in a row I am doing the cheat think: last night is was home made bean soup (certainly not a cheater) and Sub sandwhiches (cheater) and tonight deep fried cat fish, home made fries and healthy cold slaw. That is how I get away with it: the cold slaw. It is ok though, I want to watch some football, do the Christmas tree and it is really cold her today.
I buy the 5 Lbs bag of Polska Kielbasa at Costco and when I forget to defrost something, I pull out a loop and sautee it with sliced onion and sweet peppers. I mcrowave some rice and thats dinner in less than 20 minutes!
I like to have a few of those in the freezer as well, and do the same.
Tonight I'm guess I'm cheating on dinner, I made soup yesterday!

Omelets with whatever veggies, meat or cheese we've got. I've made some pretty weird concoctions out of those omelets. Grilled Cheese with whatever bread and cheese we have in the house or leftovers/frozen stuff.
our cheat dinner got even with us last night: I did the deep fried fish and chips plus cold slaw. Well, like an idiot I didn't throw away the outside leaves of the red cabbage, so it was tough, tough, though and the fist: OMG, I tried deep frying cat fish, well I think it might have been real cat or something cause it wasn't like any cat fish I have had and we had to throw it all out. It was strong, tough, and really yucky. I think I will leave the deep frying to the fast food restaurants.
Darn...if this stuff is cheating on dinner, then I constantly cheat. Haha! I like making spaghettios and bread the best. I will also get some of those Campbell's Chunky soups, I like their chicken and sausage gumbos. I keep cans in the cupboard for lazy nights. Also sometimes we'll make breakfast for dinner, with eggs, toast, bacon - that doesn't take long.
The BEST is Kraft Mac N Cheese...I love a home cooked mac & cheese, but ugh. Kraft knows what they're doing sometimes.
