Snap out of it???
You're still contradicting yourself.

Do you think American food processors, producers and marketers have any "concerns as to the contents of their products or it's consequences to the health of Americans or their own citizens"? Why do we need the FDA?

Pure xenophobia. You know absolutely nothing about the production of food in China, except that "China is our enemy." If lack of knowledge could kill anybody . . . . .

You'd be dead?
No! I'm not... Of course American manufacturers do what they can get away with to an extent. But, if you're not worried about arsenic in your food why bother. As I recall you said you'd eat from a dumpster. China has showed total contempt for human health. I believe they would use nuclear contaminants in their food if they could get away with it. If you trust China as much as you do American companies or farmers, feel free to drink all you like. You can have my share. We don't need the FDA or the USDA as they are totally impotent. The OP is arsenic in juices... I fear much worse from Chinese juices. I won't bother with all the other reasons not to buy from China.

For those who want to know:

Food Safety in China, and the Risk to the U.S. | Wired Science*| Wired.com

On other hand US agriculture is not terribly interested in creating moral outrage over Chinese food safety practices, because that attention will have people quickly asking questions about US domestic food safety. If someone makes a big deal about pesticide residue in Chinese fruits, then people are going to start asking a lot of questions about pesticide residue in California fruits.
