I have seen that craze with sea salt, on candy, caramels, bread. Even Starbucks now sells a "salted caramel latte".

BS

Only ONE of the pieces of candy in the box has SMALL little grains of sea salt on top. The salt and sweet chocolate flavor is fantastic.

I got excited by the suggestion that these might be See's chocolates (I ADORE See's). I'm glad they were giving out samples when I was at Costco this weekend because it saved me buying them. They're better than something waxy and icky like Russell Stover's but See's they ain't.

What, you have a sworn affidavit that they're See's chocolates?

They weren't bad, but not worth the calories to me. Now See's is worth every yummy decadent calorie!

Well of course its Sees.

I was givin you a bad time. Those chocolates I believe are made by the Kerry Group in Socal. Fontucky probably knows of them.

Sees quality?

I bet if I hid them throughout a box of Sees candy you couldn't tell the difference. Except for the toffee which tastes exactly the same but looks a little different when you bit into them.

Also are you sure the ones I'm talking about are the same ones you tasted?

It was my understanding that they were only carrying them through Christmas. "Kirland Signature Classic American Chocolates".

Oh well I tried.

Ouch a challenge. Sorry though last time I was in Tejas was in 1994. The stay included my involvement in a Rattle snake roundup.

I'll take your word for it.

That explains why I didn't find them at my local Costco last Friday, 12/30/11.

I'll have to try to remember looking for them when Christmas rolls around again.
