Default the ultimate spice jars

I have a random assortment of spices in different jars and am wanting to streamline the whole thing..... can anyone recommend the jars they are using ?? Ideally I'd like some that can be washed in the dishwasher and re-filled....

My favorite are from Penzey's Penzeys Spices. Over 250 Spices, Herbs and Seasonings.

They sell dried herbs, spices, and spice mixes - as well as a variety of bottles and labels. Their magazine is great with the full range of offers, special recipes, and interesting write ups about the history of certain spices and such.

I bought most of mine at the Container Store for about 2 bucks a pop. They fit in two different wooden spinning spice racks I have.

I just use empty Rx pill bottles and write with a Sharpie right on the label.

Cost PLus has some good ones. I got it for $1. Glass, removable "shaker top." Cheaper than Container Store. But it is a really fun store.

I use round labels from the office supply store to label the tops. I only had to buy enough to fill one spinner, cause the other one came with jars (filled with obscure spices it took me forever to get thru.. )

I second the motion for Penzey's to fill the spice bottles. I've done extremely inexpensive spices from a local markets bulk section up until now, but I recently FINALLY went to Penzey's after hearing people brag on it forever... and that store really is awesome. Not quite Container Store awesome maybe... heehee

I have a ton of jars from the Container Store but they are slowly being replaced by Penzey's jars, which are a little bigger.
