My husband does all the cooking and all the grocery shopping. I bake now and again. He enjoys all of this more than I do and does a much better job.

Mine does all the cooking. I do admit he leaves the mess for me but, on the bright side, I don't have to cook. I hate cooking and he's a better cook. So, I'll wash the pots.

Love me a man that can cook. Nothing sexier than a man who really knows his way around the kitchen. I like to watch.

I very much enjoy cooking. It started as a necessity from living alone but now I have a passion for it. Maybe I'm at the starting out phase where I'm experimenting with different recipes and just exploring the culinary world. If I did it day after day I'm not sure I'd be as enthusiastic. If I get married I'd probably be doing at least half the cooking, but it depends on how good a cook she is.

My husband often cooks. He's a better cook than I am. I definitely encourage him to cook. To each his or her skills.

Default Role Reversal.......

When we first met I always rocked the meals.....now with the economy the way it is and job issues we have had to go into role reversal. Now Im working 77 hours a week and he's a 52 yr old MR Mom. Its been 3 years now and to be honest. I hate cooking now. The kitchen is "HIS" now. I cant find a thing and it makes me nuts just to get a glass of milk......dont get me wrong its clean and all, but its not "ORGANIZED". Luckly he's a really great cook and a hell of a nurture lol! Funny......I Just never imagined the day when I would be a 43 year old "Husband" with a 52 year old Tall Texan MarborolMan "Wife!"

In our house, if I cook he cleans up so yup, I "leave" the dishes for him. That's the way it has been since we married almost 15yrs ago.

I see it as a small act of gratitude for making him a meal he did not and could not cook himself.
